Quality Project Coordinator Nr Cambridge

Quality Project Coordinator Nr Cambridge. Our clients are looking for a Quality Project Coordinator to work with their project teams assisting with project management duties. This is a growing role within the business and an exciting opportunity for you to learn new skills and shape this role into your own. Our clients are based in offices in a beautiful rural location close to Cambridge. They are an expanding, relaxed and highly professional technical consultancy developing state of the art new products for their commercial clients.

Personal requirements of Quality Project Coordinator

  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to keep track of multiple activities
  • Approachable – no task too small
  • Flexible in your approach in order to deal with changes in priority
  • Methodical and good organiser with a proactive approach
  • Ability to prioritise a diverse workload whilst multi-tasking
  • Previous experience in project planning, preferably including updating Gantt charts.
  • Minute taking and computer literacy skills e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Remain calm and quality conscious when under pressure
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Willingness to help across the company with other administrative tasks
  • Degree educated in Engineering or Science would be advantageous
  • Experience in a technical services or engineering environment is preferable, in particular medical devices
    Previous experience of working within an ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality management system is advantageous

Job duties of Quality Project Coordinator 

  • Support projects with administrative and project tasks such as –
    minute taking in project and client meetings,
    financial tracking,
    liaising with suppliers,
    updating project plans.
  • You will assist the quality team
  • You will be a go-to person for project leaders with setting up project filing systems, tracking document status and ensuring completeness with compliance and quality requirements
  • When required you will be supporting with tasks such as maintaining our approved supplier list and liaising with suppliers and project teams to ensure that the suppliers meet our requirements and we have the appropriate evidence on file
  • This role will sit within the general support hub where you will support the Goods In area of the business
  • Provide ad hoc reception cover and post allocation
