Sales and Administration Assistant Great Warley

Sales and Administration Assistant Great Warley. This is an exciting time to be working for a great pharmaceutical supply company who are based in, Hampshire. Our client is looking for a Maternity cover (with a possibiity of going permenently) for a Sales and Administration Assistant to work closely with the UK sales team based in Great Warley. The successful candidate will need to be a very clear communicator, have an eye for detail and be extremely organised. Accuracy and effective time management is essential in this key role.

Main Duties for the Sales and Administration Assistant:

  • Portray the company image adhering to company policy and procedures, H&S, company dress code, code of conduct etc as always required from all employees.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by your line manager.
  • Producing and amending correspondence, documents, reports, faxes, deeds, attachments from a variety of sources, in house style and in line with the firm’s specific systems/procedures
  • Producing and amending mail merges, Excel spreadsheets and other documentation as requested
  • Effectively using systems to prioritise and complete incoming work.
  • Assist team on special projects as needed and provide cover where required.
  • Keeping the office tidy along with other members of the team, setting up and end of day activities to maintain high standards in a business environment
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by senior management
  • Data entry and quoting/pricing
  • The ability to understand balance of required supplies to quote to customers
  • Analysing inventories
  • Filing and answering the telephone.
  • Sending price quotes to customers
  • Communicating worldwide by email and telephone.

Person Spec:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills written & verbal
  • Well-presented and confident
  • Excel Skills
  • Maths / analytical skills
  • SAP Business 1 experience would be a real advantage
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a small team


  • Salary £18,000pa
  • Full Time – Contract
  • Hours of work MON-FRI 9AM TO 5PM
  • Some travel required
