Senior Sales Manager Hertford

Senior Sales Manager Hertford. Our clients seek a Senior Sales Manager based at the Hertford Office and reporting to the Portfolio Sales Manager/ Group Sales Manager /Head of Sales. The successful Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for selling and managing two events a year, cross selling our clients portfolio and working collaboratively with Portfolio Manager.

The overall role of the Senior Sales Manager is to sell and manage two events a year and to cross sell across our client’s portfolio and lead by example in all aspects

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Sales Manager

  • Competently manage and maintain all elements of the sales process including admin, CRM and live events
  • Consistently hit and exceed guideline KPI’s across callings, new contacts and bookings
  • Hit and exceed all assigned event and briefing targets
  • Meet and exceed set KPI’s
  • To lead by example at all times
  • Cross sell and to exceed cross sell target of £75K+
  • Manage media partner relationships for your own and associated events
  • Identify and implement strategies for events that are behind
  • Host face to face meetings with new and existing business
  • Upsell sponsorship opportunities and bespoke solutions for clients
  • Ability to handle customer complaints
  • To attend industry relevant events to promote and represent your brands
  • Work closely with Head of Sales and Portfolio manager on the business development of your events and additional products
  • Manage and maintain all event administration
  • Motivate team around you
  • Ability to train new staff members following all good practices and processes
  • Attend and work your portfolio live events
  • Work closely with industry partners to increase exposure of brands
  • Knowledgeable of all targeted products
  • Knowledgeable of competitor and industry sectors

Skills needed for the Senior Sales Manager:

Essential

  • Minimum of 1 year in previous sales role with cold calling experience
  • Demonstrate success in hitting targets
  • Demonstrate success in securing new business in a sales environment
  • Previous use of a CRM system

Advantage

  • Worked in exhibitions sales or recruitment
  • Experience of working on new business project
  • Launched a new service or offering successfully
  • Experience of working to KPI’s
  • Experience in face to face meetings and presentations

Benefits of the Senior Sales Manager

Contractual Status is Full Time
Salary / Commission: £25,000 – £30,000 Basic (depending on experience) Plus commission OTE £45k+
