Service Administrator Nr Epping. Do you have experience of client services or logistics? Would you like to work for a family owned company based near Epping? The Service Administrator will be reporting to the UK Director of the company and the role will be pivotal to the business, upselling the product range and booking engineers out in a commercial and intelligent way. This really is an exciting time for a service administrator to join such an interesting, innovative company at a time of growth.

About the job
Our client is looking for a full-time Service Administrator to head up the department, working alongside the Office Manager. The role encompasses the booking out of engineers, taking on board the logistics of travel and product. The successful candidate will need to be a very clear communicator, have an eye for detail, be accurate and methodical with the commercial acumen to identify a sales opportunity. The role demands someone with experience of booking service personnel.

Main Duties:

  • Manage the Engineers diary in a consistent, efficient and accurate manner at all times.
  • Communicate efficiently with engineers when they are offsite.
  • Manage accommodation and travel plans in a cost-effective way.
  • Be first point of contact for customers via telephone
  • Understand the Customer brief.
  • Handle Sales/Customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Order process with accuracy
  • Liaise with the transport companies for import and export
  • Generate service paperwork accordingly.
  • Ensure an excellent service is provided to the customers in all aspects
  • Administrate company compliance and manage documentation.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Oversee smooth running of the service department.
  • Identify sales opportunities through strategic channels.

Person Spec:

  • Have proven service/logistics administration experience
  • Excellent communication
  • Identify a commercial opportunity
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Possess a professional work ethic
  • Able to think outside the box
  • Fluent in English -written and verbal.
  • Strong IT Skills, Office, Excel, email and Internet savvy.
  • Car Driver
  • Ability to work unsupervised.


  • Salary £20k – £25k dependent on experience
